“Please make my daughter change!” – A Role Play with a mother who wants her daughter to change, played by Elaine Stoll, a Senior Instructor in Vancouver BC and Glasser Canada Board Member, and Lynn Sumida as the counsellor. This role play highlights the importance of helping clients really recognize issues over which they do and don’t have control. It offers a way to shift the focus from “changing the other” back to the client, and that this often takes persistence.
